A MASH-UP OF A PRODUCT DEMO, HUMAN ENDURANCE EXPERIMENT, ART SHOW AND DOCUMENTARY TO PROVE THAT THE TOSHIBA PROTEGE LAPTOP BATTERY LIFE WAS BEST IN CLASS.
‘Made in 17 hours’, followed ‘Matzu’ in a timed challenge for the artist, and a demo of the Toshiba’s battery life. Matzu began the challenge the second he unplugged the power lead in Tokyo. He then raced against the clock, and the battery life, to complete a cohesive body of work, whilst en route to Sydney.
A camera crew followed Matsuyama as he created works for the opening of the ‘Made in 17 Hours’ exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney with him hitting print as the last of the laptop's juice ran dry.
Not bad for a story about a laptop battery.
